Constant gentle agitation of tank for 1st 30s holding top of tank with one hand and making figure-of-8 pendulum motions of the base with the other, raising the base no more than 80 degrees at either end of swing. Thereafter, agitate with two figure-of-8 swishes on the minute, every minute. Use standard tank inversions for stop and fix stage. Stain with spent developer after fix, agitating in the same manner, then wash.
